PressurePro and XiteSolutions North America Announce Integration

Announcing TrackPoint Partnership

Mar 10, 2014

Advantage PressurePro, and XiteSolutions North America, leading developers of integrated in-vehicle entertainment and information systems.

Advantage PressurePro, worldwide leaders in Tire Performance Management Solutions and TPMS technologies, and TrackPoint Systems, market leaders in asset management and trailer tracking, announced their partnership today at the Technology & Maintenance Council’s Annual Meeting. The alliance, formed to allow integration of the two technologies, sets the groundwork to launch the market’s first real time TPMS solutions for untethered trailers.

“We are excited to publicly announce our partnership with TrackPoint,” stated Vanessa Hargrave, PressurePro’s Director of Marketing. “This partnership not only further strengthens our work with reputable, market leading technology solutions allowing continued flexibility and compatibility for customers, it also allows us to break yet another barrier in the market.”

Formerly, receiving real time tire condition and performance reports from untethered equipment was limited, due to power and communication restrictions. By directly embedding PressurePro’s technology, TrackPoint has continued to push the innovation of asset management solutions.

“Dispatching drivers to trailers that have moved location or have tires in need of repair can be time-consuming, costly, and a nuisance to drivers,” said Alan Smith, President and CEO of TrackPoint Systems. “By bringing together PressurePro’s wireless TPMS solutions with TrackPoint’s solar-powered untethered trailer tracking devices, we can alert fleet managers and dispatchers in real-time not only when a trailer is moved, but also if a specific tire is in need of repair—even when the trailer is not connected to vehicle power.”

PressurePro & Valmont Irrigation Announce Award-Winning TPMS

Valmont® Announces Award-Winning TPMS

Jan 15, 2014

Advantage PressurePro, and Valmont® Irrigation, manufacturer of the Valley® brand of irrigation equipment, announce the addition of the TPMS to Valley’s product line.

Advantage PressurePro is happy to announce the attendance of their National Distributor, L&S Safety Solutions, at the upcoming Sports, Vacation and RV Show in Quartzsite, Arizona. Being held January 18th through the 26th, the show remains the largest gathering of RVs and RVers worldwide, with an estimated attendance of over 150,000 RV enthusiasts.

“With the Valley Tire Pressure Monitoring System, the exact location of a flat tire can be identified at the Valley Pro2 control panel, or remotely with the Valley BaseStation,” said John Rasmus, controls product manager for Valmont Irrigation.

The Valley TPMS was developed in response to a need identified by the Navajo Agricultural Products Industry (NAPI) in New Mexico. With more than 10,000 tires and wheel gearboxes in its operation, NAPI needed a way to monitor for low tire pressure.

“Detecting a low tire before it fails decreases downtime of the pivot during the peak irrigation season, when irrigating is critical to maximizing yields,” said Anthony Valdez, NAPI irrigation manager. “The ability to identify low-pressure warnings in the tires has really helped to reduce service costs. With the tire pressure monitoring system, we can now preempt labor and fuel costs, as well as time, by knowing when a tire is low.”

With Valley TPMS, a pressure sensor installed on each center pivot, corner, or linear tire transmits a signal reporting the tire’s pressure. Growers can view real-time pressures and receive alerts on low pressures situations. Problems can be resolved before a tire fails, reducing downtime and preventing costly repairs to tires, rims, and wheel gearboxes.

The exclusive relationship between Valmont Irrigation and Advantage PressureProTM resulted in this new tire pressure monitoring system designed specifically for the irrigation market. In 1991, PressurePro began development and production of a patented, external tire pressure monitoring system for vehicles. A recipient of the 2007 Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Award, PressurePro is a key provider of tire pressure monitoring components in the marketplace.
